Service Technician
Compensation
$22/hour to start. Experienced Service Technicians can make up to $25/hour.
Responsibilities
- Removal and application of various Commercial and/or Residential roofing products
- Successfully solve client problems through issue identification, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with customers, communicate clearly with a positive attitude, actively listen to customer concerns, and explain our recommendations, options, and timing.
- Maintain current and accurate records of existing conditions, recommendation, work performed, time spent, and materials purchased for each project.
- Carpentry work as required
- Application of metal flashing and trim work as required by the roofing system
- Daily clean-up of job sites
- Practicing Ledegar Roofing and OSHA-mandated safety protocols
- Any additional duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Previous roofing experience
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work on high-roof areas
- Ability to work on steeply sloped roofing areas
- Ability to work with basic hand tools
- Ability to carry 30lbs regularly and 50lbs periodically
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew members
- High school or GED equivalent education
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work well in a group as well as alone as required

You will be expected to fulfill all aspects of your job as listed above under responsibilities and requirements in addition to other responsibilities that may be added due to job situations, or changes in your employment status. You will work directly under a foreman, or a lead man, and will be supervised by the Commercial Field Supervisor or the Residential Department Manager.
You will be responsible for filling out and turning in your own timesheet weekly no later than Monday at 8:00 AM to the designated area. When mandated you will attend company meetings deemed necessary by the Company President.
Commercial Roofing Foreman
The Foreman will be responsible for leading a roofing crew to perform work safely and productively per specifications and to the standards of the company and customer resulting in quality commercial roofing installations.
The Foreman will provide leadership to a crew – fostering safety, teamwork & discipline – resulting in efficient and professional roofing installation. The Foreman will also manage labor, materials, and equipment.
The duties of Foreman will include, but are not limited to, lead a crew to install roof systems efficiently and safely, meet production and quality goals, deliver excellent customer service, manage job sites, equipment, and materials, exhibit exemplary responsiveness and personal leadership with all field and office personnel.
Compensation
$30-$40/hour based on experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 1 year crew lead or Foreman experience (REQUIRED)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (REQUIRED)
- Extensive knowledge of low sloped roofing systems (BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, Architectural Metal & others)
- Willing to work at varying heights and weather conditions
- 21 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Comprehension of construction documents & OSHA regulations
- Proficient in math skills relevant to roofing work
- Superior attention to safety & detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform work in accordance with safety guidelines and job specifications
- Responsible for leading, motivating, and coaching their crews on roofing jobs
- Removal and replacement of various roof systems
- Maintain professional interaction with all customers and crew members
- Organize, plan, and achieve all goals based on the scope of the work
- Communicate regularly with project managers regarding work and personnel issues. Supervise crew time sheets. Record work performed daily. Requisition materials and keep accurate materials and equipment reports. Participate in operations and customer meetings as necessary.
Physical Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day.
- Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder up to 40 feet.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
- Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in varied extreme weather condition (extreme hot and extreme cold weather).

Foreman Apprentice
The Foreman Apprentice will train with a senior foreman to take on the foreman role within a year. A foreman is responsible for leading a roofing crew to perform work safely and productively per specifications and to the standards of the company and customer resulting in quality commercial roofing installations. This is a full-time, year-round, outdoor position, with a starting wage of $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (pay is based on experience level)

Application of commercial and/or residential roofing products. *This is a non-exempt position.
Compensation
$20/hour. Experienced Installers will make more.

Sheet Metal Worker
Your primary role will be to fabricate premium-quality sheet metal components for our dedicated crews. But that’s not all – once fabrication tasks are up-to-date, you’ll also be involved in the installation processes, allowing you to witness the culmination of your hard work.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive and process both commercial and residential sheet metal orders.
- Skillfully draft job tickets for each order.
- Safely operate forklifts and power shears.
- Masterfully program and utilize the autobrake.
- Design intuitive layouts for optimal fabrication.
- Package and palletize metal, ensuring it’s ready for transport.
- Execute impeccable installation of commercial metal components including keeper, coping, edge metals, trims, panels, soffits, fascias, and more.
Compensation
Up to $28/hour based on experience.
